Hines Living is seeking a Service Technician to oversee the technical and mechanical work of the community, ensuring maintenance meets Hines standards. You will handle work orders, ground maintenance, safety procedures, and assist with preparing vacant homes for lease.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in property maintenance, and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification preferred. This is a fully on-site role requiring flexibility for shift work, with pay $21–$27 per

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of property maintenance or related experience preferred.
• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification strongly preferred for refrigerant handling.

Responsabilités

• Oversee technical and mechanical work of the community to meet Hines standards.
• Complete assigned work orders promptly from requests.
• Maintain property grounds, perform cleaning, and assist with painting curbs and signage.
• Diagnose issues proactively and provide compliant solutions.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing, coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Handle documentation and paperwork without disrupting other requests.
• Follow safety procedures for mechanical/electrical systems and report incidents.
• Support cost-cutting by verifying parts meet repair standards before replacement.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems.
• Utilize work order software and basic computing as required.
