Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role involves evaluating work orders, diagnosing defects, coordinating with vendors, and performing routine upkeep across a 92-unit community on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law and be knowledgeable in safe use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and external contacts.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by other team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and works with Community Manager on supplies.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the manual.
• Assists Community Manager in developing budgets for repairs and capital projects.
• Supports cost-cutting and efficient use of materials and tools.
• Conducts safety meetings and keeps MSDS and OSHA related requirements current.
• Responds to resident questions and requests with professionalism.
