Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Lease Administrator to join a growing team that manages a national real estate portfolio across office, industrial, retail, and Healthcare properties. You will read signed leases, convert them into precise system records, and manage rent schedules and tenant charges with accuracy.

You will drive critical-date controls, support month-end close, budgets, and audits, and collaborate with accounting, property management, leasing, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of commercial real estate lease administration, tenant recovery, or property accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of base rent, escalations, CAM, operating expenses, taxes, insurance, and tenant billing.
• Experience with at least one lease administration, property management, or real estate accounting system.
• Strong Excel: reconciliations, lookups, pivot tables, and schedules others can follow.

Responsibilities

• Abstract and summarize leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, subleases, and terminations, and decide which document controls when terms conflict.
• Set up and maintain lease records, recurring charges, fixed and CPI escalations, and percentage rent in the lease or property accounting system.
• Prepare or support CAM, operating expense, real estate tax, and insurance estimates and year-end reconciliations, applying caps, base years, and gross-ups exactly as written.
• Own critical-date controls: rent commencement, options, notices, expirations, renewals, and insurance requirements.
• Reconcile the lease, rent roll, lease system, and billing schedules and resolve differences quickly.
• Support month-end close, budgets, audits, acquisitions, and system data transfers with clean, traceable lease data.
