Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Lease Accounting and Financial Reporting professional to support accounting and property administration across the U.S. and Canada.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process oversight, compliance, and operational support within a fast-paced finance environment. Responsibilities include CAM reconciliations, IFRS lease accounting review, period-end close, AP percentage rent management, Tango workflow approvals, budgeting assistance, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience required, lease accounting and IFRS preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel to analyze, organize, and reconcile financial data.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, reconciliations, accruals, and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Support lease accounting across the U.S. and Canada with focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee CAM reconciliations and act as primary contact for the Mexico Business Center.
• Review IFRS lease accounting schedules for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Manage period-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations per deadlines.
• Oversee AP percentage rent payments and related accruals, with monthly balance review.
• Approve Tango AP/AR batches and ensure they are complete and supported.
• Assist with annual budget data gathering and validation.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
