Job summary

Circle K in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Supervisor, Lease Accounting to lead U.S. and Canadian lease accounting, review IFRS schedules for accuracy, and support the period-end close with timely, well-supported entries.

The role oversees AP percentage rent, Tango AP/AR batches, and acquisitions data, coordinates with auditors, and ensures proper reconciliations and close deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, lease accounting and IFRS preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to analyze, organize, and reconcile financial data.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement accounts, reconciliations, accruals, and period-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Mexico Business Center oversight related to U.S. and Canadian CAM reconciliations and serve as primary contact for questions.
• Review and approve IFRS lease accounting schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve period-end journal entries and Blackline reconciliations to ensure timely close.
• Oversee Accounts Payable percentage rent payments and related accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and approve Tango AP/AR batches to ensure accuracy and readiness for processing.
• Prepare annual fiscal year budgeting data, validate assumptions, and support budget development.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by gathering documentation and responding to requests.
• Oversee TDL payments applications and ensure timely processing.
• Assist acquisitions by organizing lease and financial data for integration and reporting.
