Job summary

Circle K is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the monthly close, reporting, and internal control activities in its Tempe, AZ operation. The role emphasizes accuracy, IFRS compliance, and coordination with the Distribution Center and accounting team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with MS Access, Excel, Word, and accounting systems such as PDI Enterprise and Longview. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA preferred (active pursuit may be accepted, proof required).
• Three years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Ability to analyze large data sets to support financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting Manager in monthly close process and reporting.
• Maintain accounting controls and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with supporting documentation.
• Maintain balance between main system and sub reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Mentor Accountants and communicate with internal/external customers.
