Job summary

Weston College in North Somerset is seeking a Regional Trainer / Assessor - Computing to deliver teaching, training and assessment across accredited programmes, including work-based learning and Apprenticeships. This full-time role (37 hours per week) is based on our Weston campuses with on-site interviews and a strong emphasis on supporting learners to achieve their learning aims.

You will prepare materials, carry out assessments, and maintain documentation while upholding safeguarding,

Qualifications

• Be educated to Level 3 (e.g. A-level, NVQ Level 3, etc.).
• Knowledge of Further Education curriculum, work-based learning and Apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, and assess on a range of accredited programmes, including work-based learning.
• Prepare materials to carry out teaching, training, and assessment.
• Assess candidate competence within College and workplace settings.
• Carry out administrative tasks to support delivery and assessment of students.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to day duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
