Job summary

New College Pontefract is seeking an Access Arrangements Assistant to support the SENDCo with administrative duties for access arrangements. The role requires prior experience with young people and a willingness to undertake relevant training.

The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team, delivering high standards of support for students with their access and educational needs, and helping ensure JCQ requirements are met.

Salary: Support Staff Salary Band E, Scale Points 6-9, £21,570 - £22,634 (FTE £25,558 - £26,818)

Contract Type: Full time, 37 hours per week, Term Time only (38 weeks)

The successful candidate will have the knowledge, understanding and experience of working with young people in a similar environment and must be willing to undertake further training relevant to the post. Previous experience of organising access arrangements is essential, along with strong organisational skills and knowledge of JCQ requirements, in order to provide a high standard of support to students with their access and educational needs.
