Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a Joint Class Size Assessment Council paraeducator to assist in instruction and supervise students in Priority Schools. Responsibilities include tutoring, material preparation, and classroom assistance under the supervision of a licensed teacher.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid paraprofessional license (ISBE/TASN) or 60 college credits with related exams. Strong English and math skills and CPS rules familiarity are desired.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervising students during lunchroom and playground activities.

• Provides tutoring and helps with homework under teacher supervision.
• Supports student transport and arrival procedures as needed.
