Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Class Size Teacher Assistant to support in Priority Schools. You will assist in instruction, supervise students during lunch and on the playground, and help with classroom tasks under a licensed teacher's supervision.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of proper English grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work with and for school-aged children, ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Good oral and written communication skills, good reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of students during lunch and playground activities.
• Provide security functions within the school, monitor corridors and review student IDs.
• Assist students in understanding and completing classroom assignments.
• Assist teachers in preparing bulletin boards and displaying students' work.
