Job summary

Sullivan & Cromwell seeks a Senior Coordinator for Learning & Development within the Legal Talent Office to plan, coordinate, and execute the Firm’s educational programs for lawyers. You will manage scheduling, communications with lawyers, and coordinate logistics with internal teams to ensure programs run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Event planning or coordination experience is required.
• Experience in a law firm or fast-paced professional services environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute the Firm’s educational programs for lawyers across seniority levels.
• Manage logistics and operations for multi-day programs and orientation activities.
• Maintain the educational program calendar and coordinate with lawyers to schedule programs.
• Coordinate program logistics with internal teams (Media, Conference and Dining Services, Security).
• Coordinate with external vendors for scheduling, materials, and logistics.
• Monitor emails and inquiries regarding programs and respond promptly.
• Provide on-site logistical support during programs and coordinate with presenters to provide CLE codes.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours when needed; overtime is available.
