Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of progressive experience with facilitating adult learning.
• Demonstrated skill in facilitation to maximize learning and/or behavioral outcomes.
• Classroom management experience and ability to adhere to training agenda.
• Demonstrated knowledge facilitating learning activities like discussion, role playing, lecture, action learning, demonstration, and/or exercise.
• Demonstrated knowledge of functional job roles that are supported by L&D.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
• Demonstrated proficiency using learning tools and software.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on training schedule.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training curriculum per facilitator guide and training agenda; 50-75% facilitation based on needs; remaining time for compliance and system administration.
• Adhere to training calendar and collaborate with recruiting to manage class rosters, start dates, and modifications.
• Address learning objectives and identify any gaps observed during facilitation.
• Manage classroom logistics; ensure venue, tools, materials, resources, and technology are ready for a successful learning experience.
• Use change log and L&D maintenance process to update evergreen content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to validate information in training materials.
• Observe and document current processes to stay up to date with business tasks.
• Deploy learner evaluation surveys to measure training effectiveness and transfer of learning.
• Collaborate with Learning Specialist II to revise programs and incorporate blended learning as needed.
• Monitor training activities and program effectiveness; suggest and implement improvements to design.
• Maintain awareness of training methodology and industry best practices.
• Work with Compliance and internal stakeholders to align learner assignments with the Annual Compliance Required Training plan.
• Monitor progress of Annual Compliance Required Training and report to stakeholders.
• Maintain LMS maintenance tasks like course code creation, media upload, and user profiles/access.
• Maintain learner records and follow retention policies.
