Job summary

Firefighters First Federal Credit Union in Hendersonville, TN seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs. You will create e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and other resources, partnering with SMEs and leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment with goals.

The role includes LMS administration, virtual and in-person sessions, and upskilling initiatives, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Experience with web development tools, authoring tools, e-learning technologies, and the Adobe Suite.
• Experience working with Articulate.
• Experience creating training programs and content.
• Bondable status throughout employment per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging training content (e-learning, instructor-led).
• Regularly update training materials to reflect policy changes and industry best practices.
• Administer LMS, upload content, track progress, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with department leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions focusing on leadership, compliance, technical and professional skills.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and feedback to improve content.
• Stay current with learning trends and new instructional design techniques.
