Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Global Learning & Development Learning Innovation Lead in Tempe to scout and pilot emerging learning technologies, including AI, automation, simulations, and apps, turning experiments into scalable, business-ready solutions.

This role partners across GL&D, HR Product, Technology, and risk/compliance, measuring success by innovations that reach production and improve performance, learner experience, and cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of learning and development, HR, business, or managerial experience.
• Experience evaluating, piloting, or implementing emerging technologies (AI, automation, simulations, apps).
• Ability to design experiments, define success criteria, and make evidence-based recommendations to scale, iterate, or stop.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging learning technologies to validate business value and scalability.
• Monitor market trends to anticipate future learning tech needs for GL&D.
• Design pilots with hypotheses, criteria, timelines, and measurement plans; run controlled experiments.
• Assess pilots for value, cost, risk, and scalability; decide to scale, iterate, or retire.
• Build business cases and proofs-of-concept translating tech capability into business outcomes.
