Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA, seeks a Training Lead to support the Training Program within the Contracting & Logistics Department. You will help plan, develop, and maintain training materials, coordinate with Process Owners and SMEs, and manage communications and document storage in SharePoint.

The role emphasizes instructional design, program development, delivery across in-person and virtual formats, and measurement of training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related fields desirable but not required.
• 5–10 years of experience in training program design, development, instruction and delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Training Program communications and delivery; maintain a comprehensive Training Plan.
• Coordinate execution with Process Owners and SMEs; align with Lab-wide communications.
• Develop curriculum plans, including interactive activities and e-learning modules.
• Lead and mentor internal training staff on adult learning concepts and delivery.
• Deliver instruction through in-person, virtual, and on-the-job coaching formats.
• Evaluate training outcomes and optimize methodologies based on feedback.
• Manage training calendars, records, and resource allocation.
• Design strategic communications artifacts for C&L, e.g., annual report.
