Job summary

Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development seeks a Learning Solutions professional to design, develop, implement, and evaluate moderately complex learning initiatives for the Paid Leave Program based in St. Paul, with telework eligibility.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, create multi-modal content, and support operational readiness through effective training that enhances performance and ensures compliance and equitable service across Minnesotans.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience designing and delivering scalable learning solutions that align with business goals and drive employee performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, Education, or other closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute one (1) year of experience.
• Experience applying adult learning theory and instructional design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Learning Solutions – Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop learning solutions by translating complex policies and procedures into clear actionable learning content.
• Develop interactive learning solutions and assessments in multiple modalities including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor led, media, simulations, and guidance documents using a variety of tools.
• Support the design, development and implementation of learning paths, program curriculums, competency-based learning solutions, and leadership development programs.
