Job summary

Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions for the Paid Leave program. You will strengthen performance, ensure timely, accurate, and equitable services for Minnesotans, and advance program readiness and policy compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with subject matter experts, multi-modality learning, and leadership development in a startup-like environment

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience designing and delivering scalable learning solutions.
• Degree substitution allows one year of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience applying adult learning theory and instructional design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions by translating policies into clear learning content.
• Create interactive learning in eLearning, ILT, virtual ILT, and other formats.
• Support learning paths, curricula, and leadership development programs.
• Deliver and facilitate learning experiences with logistics and engagement.
