Job summary

Fortegra in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Training Specialist to design, develop, coordinate, and facilitate training programs that support employee onboarding, performance improvement, process changes, and ongoing professional development.

You will partner with business leaders and SMEs to create engaging learning experiences that improve knowledge, skills, and performance while ensuring consistency across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in training, learning and development, instructional design, customer service, claims, operations, or related fields.
• Experience facilitating both virtual and classroom-based training.
• Experience creating training materials and learning content.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
• Conduct new hire onboarding and departmental training sessions.
• Deliver refresher training and upskilling opportunities for existing employees.
• Adapt facilitation techniques to meet diverse learning styles and audience needs.
• Evaluate learner participation and engagement during training sessions.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including Facilitator Guides, Job Aids, and E-Learning modules.
• Coordinate training schedules and logistics and track attendance and completion.
