The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and facilitating training programs that support employee onboarding, performance improvement, process changes, and ongoing professional development. This role partners with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging learning experiences that improve employee knowledge, skills, and performance while ensuring consistency across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in training, learning and development, instructional design, customer service, claims, operations, or related fields.
Experience facilitating both virtual and classroom-based training.
Experience creating training materials and learning content.
Primary Job Functions:
- Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and departmental training sessions.
- Deliver refresher training and upskilling opportunities for existing employees.
- Adapt facilitation techniques to meet diverse learning styles and audience needs.
- Evaluate learner participation and engagement during training sessions.
Develop and maintain training materials, including:
- Facilitator Guides.
- Job Aids.
- E-Learning Modules such as Knowledge Assessments and Quick Reference Guides.
- Update training content based on process changes, system enhancements, and business needs.
- Partner with SMEs to validate training accuracy and effectiveness.
- Coordinate training schedules and logistics.
- Track learner attendance, completion rates, and certification requirements.
- Maintain training records and learning management systems.
- Assist in creating learning paths and career development programs.
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
- Provide coaching and performance support to employees following training.
- Analyze quality, operational, and performance metrics to recommend training solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high volume work environment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience with learning technologies, LMS platforms, Articulate Rise, Storyline, or similar tools preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
