Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks a Talent Development Technical Specialist II to design and deliver innovative learning solutions. You will partner with sponsors and subject matter experts to translate business needs into engaging curricula for our strategic priorities, Roles and focus areas.

The role requires strong instructional design and project management skills, with proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Degreed, LMS and LinkedIn Learning, in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in adult learning and instructional design or similar discipline, with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience.
• Must have at least four years’ experience in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development.
• Strong experience in developing and delivering learning for a hybrid learning environment using both synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in learning design software such as Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong experience in facilitating collaborative workshops
• Working knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Cognitive Behaviors.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning solutions in a hybrid environment using asynchronous and synchronous methods.
• Collaborate with SMEs across disciplines to translate business needs into learning specs.
• Manage end-to-end design, development and delivery of curriculum development plans and learning programs.
• Create videos, eLearning, instructor-led content, job aids, guides, learning portals and simulations.
• Apply design thinking to address business and user needs with measurable outcomes.
• Define objectives and implementation plans with stakeholders.
• Work with the Talent Development Team to design learning products.
• Facilitate pilot programs and hand off to stakeholders.
• Evaluate learning impact and maintain/ retire solutions.
