Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and elevate employee training programs across the organization. You will work with subject matter experts to create impactful content and ensure programs meet business objectives while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years in instructional design, a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, and strong skills in MS Office and digital learning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Adult Learning or equivalent.
• 2+ years of instructional design and development experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to craft engaging learning experiences that boost business performance.
• Partner with business teams to establish clear learning objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and develop high-quality learning content tailored to the needs of employees.
• Conduct reviews of training materials to confirm objectives are achieved and implement necessary enhancements.
• Provide revisions to instructional materials based on feedback from stakeholders and experts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry tools and learning processes.
• Coordinate with Learning and Development staff, managers and directors to produce effective training deliverables.
• Participate and facilitate in-person or virtual meetings to support learning projects.
• Track project progress, milestones and tasks using team tools.
• Lead in-person or virtual training sessions to empower others.
• Diagnose and mitigate risks related to instructional design projects.
