Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an instructional design professional to create and maintain engaging training across digital and instructor-led formats in Libertyville, IL. You will translate ILT to online courses, collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders, and apply best practices in storyboarding, scripting, and multimedia development.

The role involves developing content in video, eLearning modules, documents, graphics, and podcasts, while supporting new learning technologies and templates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, publish, update, and maintain digital training materials and learning assets.
• Translate instructor-led training into engaging online courses, webinars, or self-paced learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, project leaders, compliance teams, and management to build effective learning solutions.
• Apply instructional design best practices to storyboarding, scripting, narration, recording, and multimedia development.
• Support the creation of templates and standardized processes for storing and delivering computer-based learning content.
• Develop training content in multiple formats, including video, eLearning modules, documents, graphics, and podcasts.
• Help implement new learning technologies and delivery methods that improve efficiency and learner engagement.
• Provide guidance on instructional design and multimedia best practices to internal teams.
• Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve learning content and delivery.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, and task assignments.
• Maintain positive communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage and operate multimedia studio equipment as needed.
