Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design and build innovative digital learning experiences, leaning on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while leveraging instructional design expertise.

You will collaborate with Talent Product Owners and enterprise learning teams to deliver outcomes-based learning at scale. This role emphasizes hands-on development, portfolio samples required for consideration, and a transition to onsite work across Fidelity locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of experience in Learning Experience Design, UX, and/or Front-End Web Development.
• Experience with graphic design and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, XD or Figma.
• Experience designing rich interactive digital experiences and bringing them to life via HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Eagerness to innovate and think differently.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and groups, in person and virtually.
• Comfortable as a self-starter and able to act independently under general direction.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Strong communication skills and excellence in project management.
• Ability to lead and develop large-scale projects with tight time constraints.
• Advocating for user-centered design and outcome-based thinking.
• Designing, developing, and delivering learning experiences that improve performance.
• Pushing learning capabilities through experimentation and new ideas.
• Collaborating with Business Leaders and Talent Product Owners on plans and strategy for large-scale initiatives.
