The candidate will partner with Business Leaders and Talent Product Owners on large-scale initiatives, lead complex projects with tight timelines, and advocate for user-centered, outcome-based design across Fidelity's enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' relevant work experience in Learning Experience Design, UX design, or front-end development.
• Experience with graphic design and prototyping tools (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, XD or Figma).
• Experience designing interactive digital experiences and bringing them to life with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to lead large-scale projects under tight timelines.
• Advocating for user-centered design and outcome-based thinking.

The Role

We are seeking an inquisitive, forward-thinking team member, passionate about instructional design and excited to collaborate on designing and building innovative new approaches to digital learning at Fidelity.

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will assist our talent programs and learning organizations in producing solutions that deliver on their business outcomes. These solutions are industry-leading learning experiences; This role leans heavily on skills in digital development to create the core of these experiences while also using more traditional learning modalities to build a rich and layered experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Learning Experience Design, User Experience Design, and/or Front-End Web Development
• Experience with graphic design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD or Figma
• Experience designing rich, interactive digital experiences and bringing them to life via HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Eagerness to innovate and think differently
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
• Comfortable as a self-starter and able to act independently under general direction.
• In-depth knowledge and skills in instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated excellence in project management.
• Ability to lead, design and develop large-scale projects with tight time constraints.
• Advocating for user-centered design and outcome-based thinking.
• Designing, developing, and delivering learning experiences that improve performance.
• Striving to push the boundaries of learning capabilities through experimentation and exploration of new ideas.
• Collaborating with Business Leaders and Talent Product Owners on plans and strategy for large-scale initiatives and complex projects.

As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to submit relevant portfolio samples showcasing their learning experience design work.

Your insight and ability to design and develop high-quality learning solutions on our digital platforms is essential to building impactful learning experiences at Fidelity.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
