Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP (AMH) seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to create learning content across eLearning, ILT, microlearning, and blended formats. You will craft scripts, storyboards, and assets aligned with brand and accessibility standards, collaborating with SMEs to ensure accuracy and impact.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Instructional Design or related field and 3+ years in corporate design; proficiency with Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe CC, and video tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Communications, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 3 years of instructional design lifecycle experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience designing learning across multiple modalities (eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended).
• Proficiency with authoring/design tools (Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe CC, Microsoft 365); LMS basics (SCORM/xAPI).
• Experience creating/editing videos (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere); familiarity with AI-enabled tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content across multiple modalities (eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended, simulations).
• Produces scripts, storyboards, and assets aligned with templates, brand, accessibility, and governance standards.
• Builds interactive modules, videos, graphics, and materials using authoring, media, and AI-enabled tools.
• Collaborates with SMEs and stakeholders to capture requirements and refine learning solutions.
• Updates and refreshes content reflecting process or system changes.
• Conducts self- and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
