Job summary

Columbia Credit Union is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to design, develop, and deliver engaging training across onboarding, banking operations, lending, products, and employee growth.

The role includes creating e-learning modules, presentations, videos, job aids, and facilitator guides, with opportunities to run both in-person and virtual sessions to boost performance and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ financial institution job experience.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience training/coaching adult learners.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Internet use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs for onboarding, banking operations, lending, products, services, and employee development.
• Create instructional materials including e-learning modules, presentations, videos, job aids, surveys, and facilitator guides.
• Deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions that support employee performance and career growth.
• Analyze training effectiveness using reporting, learner feedback, completion metrics, retention data, promotion outcomes, and ROI.
• Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases.
• Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and recommend innovative development solutions.
• Keep training content current, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate training logistics, resources, and vendor-supported learning opportunities.
