Job summary

Columbia Credit Union is seeking an experienced Training Designer to shape employee learning across onboarding, operations, lending, and product knowledge. You will design impactful programs and help develop future leaders in a people-first culture.

You will create e-learning modules, presentations, videos, job aids, and facilitator guides; deliver in-person and virtual sessions; and analyze training impact using metrics and ROI, while managing the LMS and partnering with leaders to identify

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in a financial institution.
• Minimum two years' experience training/adult learners.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs for onboarding, banking operations, lending, products, services, and employee development.
• Create instructional materials including e-learning modules, presentations, videos, job aids, surveys, and facilitator guides.
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions that support employee performance and career growth.
• Analyze training effectiveness using reporting, learner feedback, completion metrics, retention data, promotion outcomes, and ROI.
• Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases.
• Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and recommend innovative development solutions.
• Keep training content current, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate training logistics, resources, and vendor-supported learning opportunities.
