Job summary

Helix Electric seeks an experienced Instructional Designer in Oakland, CA to design and develop learning programs, multimedia content, and assessments. You will collaborate with SMEs and internal teams to align learning with business goals and compliance needs.

Responsibilities include needs analyses, curriculum design, and project management, with a focus on digital and blended learning solutions and the integration of effective learning technologies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience with digital and blended learning.
• Experience in ILT, virtual, and e-learning spaces.
• Proficient with Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia.
• Proven track record leading large-scale learning projects.
• Experience with LMS and virtual learning platforms.
• Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses to identify learning objectives and target audience.
• Design and develop curriculum frameworks and instructional materials for online, blended, and in-person modalities.
• Lead instructional design projects from inception to delivery within scope and budget.
• Create and revise educational content ensuring accuracy and learning outcomes.
• Integrate learning technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Design and implement assessments to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
