Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union in San Diego is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to plan, organize and supervise day-to-day training activities. Lead curriculum development, delivery methods, and projects to support our strategic goals.

You will oversee needs assessments, coordinate instructional courses for direct reports and executive leadership, and partner with internal teams to improve learning programs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing multifaceted training campaigns.
• Experience supervising and/or leading professional employees.
• Ability to measure and evaluate program effectiveness and take corrective actions.
• Experience in managing instructional design projects and production tasks.
• Experience with online publishing and project-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, evaluate and develop plans for innovative training designs and communication methods.
• Plan, develop, and provide training programs for business units using diverse delivery methods.
• Supervise needs assessments to support organizational learning needs; evaluate instructor performance and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal communications to improve methods of informing employees.
• Identify and implement training techniques and programs to enhance the learning experience.
• Oversee and guide programs and systems delivering exceptional learning solutions.
