Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist in Chatsworth, CA, on a hybrid 6-month contract. The role focuses on developing and coordinating employee training, driving learning initiatives, and collaborating with HR and business leaders to support growth.

The ideal candidate has a solid HR foundation with hands-on L&D experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver impactful training programs across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in L&D or training.
• Experience coordinating training programs and employee development initiatives.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and LMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer employee training and development programs
• Support the planning, scheduling, and facilitation of learning initiatives
• Track training participation, completion rates, and learning metrics
• Manage learning materials, training records, and LMS data
• Assist in identifying training needs and developing learning solutions
• Partner with HR and business leaders to support employee development strategies
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire training activities
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend process improvements
• Support special HR and talent development projects as assigned
