Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver programs that strengthen staff capabilities. You will oversee end-to-end L&D infrastructure, from needs assessment through program design and LMS administration, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in L&D, strong facilitation, and experience with adult-learning curricula across formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or other relevant graduate degree required.
• Five years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or training, including direct facilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic framework and direct development of learning solutions for all staff levels.
• Consult with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
• Manage compliance training for staff.
• Create facilitator guides for programs.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to expand L&D capacity.
• Build manager capability curricula and learning pathways.
• Maintain Learning and Development calendar.
• Manage vendors, contracts, and content licensing.
• Administer the learning management platform (LMS).
• Conduct learning needs assessments and report on outcomes and participation.
