Job summary

Hutchinson Aerospace & Industry, Inc. in Hopkinton, MA, seeks a Training Coordinator to design and deliver employee development programs across People & Skills, Process & Systems, and Culture.

You will lead onboarding, cross-training, leadership development, and soft-skills training to align with business goals. The role requires 3–4 years in training or instructional design, familiarity with LMS, strong communication, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, or related field.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of training, instructional design, or org development experience.
• Experience as Training Coordinator/Trainer in manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Familiarity with LMS and virtual training tools.
• Ability to manage the full training lifecycle from needs assessment to evaluation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and content creation tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Training, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• US Citizen per ITAR & NOFORN requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual training plans across roles and departments.
• Design and deliver in-house and outsourced training programs (classroom, virtual, on-the-job).
• Conduct organization-wide needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps.
• Coordinate with managers and SMEs to map development plans for individuals and teams.
• Coordinate in-house and external training sessions and annual schedule.
• Create and manage training materials, tools, and equipment.
• Promote training opportunities and ensure clear employee communication.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and track impact on performance.
• Maintain training records and manage Learning Management Systems
• Host train-the-trainer sessions to support internal trainers.
• Stay current on industry best practices; recommend innovative approaches.
