Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross® is seeking a Learning and Organizational Development professional to design and deliver learning solutions that drive operational excellence across our Products portfolios. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to identify gaps, apply adult learning principles, and deliver engaging virtual and in-person training, with occasional onsite support.

This primarily remote role requires at least one day per week onsite.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary degree in education or related field and 5+ years of training experience, including development and facilitation.
• Preference for adult learning certificate and/or instructional design certification from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to deliver instructor-led learning in virtual, classroom, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, stakeholders and partners in virtual and in-person settings.
• Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify performance gaps and design solutions.
• Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning theories to course development.
• Design, maintain and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using learner feedback and business metrics.
