Job summary

LACENTA in Los Angeles seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate training programs that boost performance and regulatory compliance across the organization.

You will partner with department leaders, manage LMS and compliance training, coordinate across clinics, track completion, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring content aligns with applicable laws, policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, training, instructional design, compliance training, or a related role.
• Experience developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating employee training programs.
• Strong knowledge of LMS, eLearning platforms, and instructional design methodologies.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Assess training needs through collaboration with department leaders, managers, and data.
• Design, organize, and facilitate instructor-led training sessions, workshops, orientations, refresher training, and eLearning programs.
• Maintain training materials to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with standards.
• Coordinate training schedules across departments and clinic locations; manage LMS assignments and records.
• Deliver engaging training across departments and adapt methods to audiences; provide clear policy explanations.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement; provide regular compliance reporting.
• Stay informed about evolving practices and regulatory requirements relevant to the healthcare environment.
