Job summary

Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Thyrood and Allergy is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate training programs across the organization.

You will partner with department leaders and HR to identify learning needs, create effective solutions, maintain records, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies. This role supports onboarding, ongoing education, and career development in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field.
• 3+ years in Learning & Development or related role.
• Experience developing and evaluating training programs.
• Knowledge of LMS, eLearning, instructional design.
• Knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA compliance in healthcare.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Assess training needs with department leaders, managers, employee feedback, and data.
• Design, organize, and facilitate instructor-led and eLearning sessions.
• Coordinate compliance training across laws, policies, and requirements.
• Maintain training records and LMS data; monitor completion rates and trends.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
