Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development professional to deliver education and training across Memphis, TN, and Harrison, AR locations. You will design and deliver instructor-led and virtual training, consult with partners, and promote sustainable learning transfer.

You will coach senior staff, coordinate Train-the-Trainer programs, and partner with instructional designers to drive outcomes. The role requires travel and collaboration across regions to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, education or related field plus 5 years' training facilitation and coaching experience
• Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers
• Professional certification in coaching, leadership development or related discipline (preferred)
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Operations technology systems
• Must be able to work with employees and management across all levels
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor led classes and specialty training assignments
• Identify learning needs, prescribe, and deliver education and training plans
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education solutions and monitor learning transfer
• Lead and coordinate Train-the-Trainer workshops for Delivery team readiness
• Mentor and coach Learning & Development Specialists and Sr. Specialists
• Provide support to leadership level across all the regions
• May provide support to international counterparts based on business needs
• Develop and present education strategies, proposals, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Work closely with instructional designers and developers to promote learning transfer
• Lead and/or participate on committees or projects as assigned
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies/procedures
• Perform other assignments as required
