Job summary

Bristol Public Schools seeks a City Wide Paraeducator for the Learning Center, currently at NEMS. You will assist in small group and individual pupil instruction under the supervision of a special education teacher, help maintain discipline, and support classroom activities.

The role includes assisting with IEP implementation, supervising students during breaks, and preparing instructional materials. Requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills; daytime schedule follows the school

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with college credits or an associate degree.
• Parapro assessment or equivalent understanding of instructional support.
• Ability to read, write, and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instruction under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Assist teacher in maintaining discipline.
• Assist teacher with instructional activities.
• Escort students between rooms and supervise during recess and lunch.
• Assist in implementing IEPs and preparing materials.
