Job summary

Bristol Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to assist in small group and individual instruction at Bristol Eastern High School. Qualifications

• Paraprofessional assessment may be accepted as alternative qualification.
• Ability to work with both special education and regular education students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small group and individual pupil instruction under supervision of the special education teacher.
• Maintain discipline and assist with instructional activities.
• Escort students between rooms and prepare instructional materials.
• Assist with IEP implementation and supervise students during recess and lunch.
• Assist with paperwork and alert teachers to problems observed.
