Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our HR team in East London. You will design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in L&D, strong expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles, and proficiency with e-learning tools like Articulate Storyline and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or-equivalent in HR, Education, Psychology or related field.
• 3–5+ years in Learning and Development, training design and facilitation.
• Experience with needs analysis, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Proficiency with training technologies and e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, LMS).
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

About the Role Our client is seeking a dynamic and innovative Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to join their Human Resources team in East London . You will play a key part in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the competencies needed for future success. Key Responsibilities

• Assess training needs across the organization and develop a comprehensive L&D strategy.
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials (e.g., e-learning modules, facilitator guides).
• Facilitate training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and report on key metrics and ROI.
• Manage the L&D budget and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in learning and development.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and up-to-date training content.
• Support the implementation of the company's talent management and succession planning initiatives.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate tracking of training activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development, training design, and facilitation.
