Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our HR team in East London. You will design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in L&D, strong expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles, and proficiency with e-learning tools like Articulate Storyline and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or-equivalent in HR, Education, Psychology or related field.
• 3–5+ years in Learning and Development, training design and facilitation.
• Experience with needs analysis, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Proficiency with training technologies and e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, LMS).
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and develop a comprehensive L&D strategy.
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs and learning materials.
• Facilitate training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and report on metrics and ROI.
• Manage the L&D budget and resources.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in L&D.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop relevant content.
• Support talent management and succession initiatives.
• Administer the LMS and track training activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment and continuous improvement.
