Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead daily operations, implement the Generac Manufacturing System, and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements across the value stream.

You will design and coach teams, manage talent, deploy PDCA and MDI processes, and launch new products within Operations, building a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience
• 5 years progressive operations or lean management experience
• 3 years demonstrated implementation experience in Lean principles (preferred)
• Lean, Operations or Supply Chain Certifications (preferred)
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system
• Demonstrated experience in flow principles, Kanban, PFEP
• Leadership with a diversity of team skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement.
• Create continuous product flow, use pull systems, and level workload.
• Develop standardized work and countermeasures to drive safety and quality.
• Provide leadership and develop the team, aligning objectives with company strategy.
• Manage talent through performance management and succession planning.
• Drive PDCA and MDI processes to achieve KPI results in people, safety, quality, delivery & cost.
• Lead and coordinate successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
• Collaborate on facility standards and strategic initiatives.
