Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to lead and coach lean initiatives across the value stream using the Generac Manufacturing System. You will drive process mapping, standard work, line design, and flow improvements while mentoring teams to reduce waste.

Responsibilities include deploying Kaizen events, developing standard work, and sharing best practices with the corporate CI team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 3 years of Continuous Improvement or Lean Engineering experience
• Lean principles implementation experience
• Experience with Kanban and PFEP

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and the GMS.
• Coach others to develop and implement CI solutions to solve complex process issues.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work for continuous improvement.
• Mentor facility team members in Lean principles and tools.
• Collaborate with corporate CI team and facility leadership to share best practices.
