Job summary

Generac is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead daily operations and continuous improvement within our manufacturing value stream. You will implement the Generac Manufacturing System, drive safety, quality and cost metrics, and empower a skilled team to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.

The role requires lean leadership experience, ability to design standardized work, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize flow and lead improvements across the value

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations/lean management.
5 years progressive operations or lean management experience preferred.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system valued.

Responsibilities

Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
Drive flow, pull systems and workload leveling for optimal production throughput.
Ensure standardized work, countermeasures and safety improvements are in place.
Coach and develop the team; align objectives with company strategy.
Lead and coordinate NPI launches within Operations.
Support facility strategic plans and share best practices.
