Job summary

MCC Label, a global leader in premium labels, seeks an Operational Excellence Manager to drive Lean culture in the plant. You will lead productivity improvements, coach teams, and eliminate waste with Lean principles, reporting to the Plant Manager.

The role requires strong influence, cross-functional collaboration, and track record of engaging employees beyond direct reports. You will oversee Kaizen events, KPI delivery, and site transformation programs across Safety, Quality, and Cost.

Qualifications

• BS - Engineering or Operations Management required.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• 5+ years plant leadership with Lean manufacturing in complex facilities.
• Strong change management skills and culture-shift in Lean.
• Experience leading employees not direct reports.
• Transformational Lean initiatives experience.
• Lean principles across multiple operations.
• Proven success in policy deployment: throughput, cycle time, inventory turns, costs.
• Experience manufacturing product materials within scope.
• Analytical, problem solver, self-starter, leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, CI/Quality, SQF, and Workplace Safety programs.
• Lead Kaizen events and track actions.
• Develop site transformation plan with site management.
• Analyze KPI and drive improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure Lean aligns with business objectives and plan.
• Mentor KPO team and cross-functional staff.
• Build engineering competencies across sites.
• Teach Lean tools (5S, TPM, Standard Work, Visual Management).
• Collaborate with leadership, management, vendors to drive improvements.
• Support CI initiatives for management.
• Partner with Multi-Color leadership on Lean progress.
