Job summary

MCC Label is seeking an Operations Manager to lead site production, promoting safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. You will develop teams to achieve corporate improvements, drive Lean practices, and ensure performance aligns with budget targets.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in operations/Lean management, an engineering or technical degree, and strong communication with advanced Excel skills. Printing discipline experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HANDS-ON leader with continuous improvement mindset and change management.
• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business with 10+ years of staff level leadership.
• Minimum of 7 years in Operations/Lean Management.
• Printing industry experience preferred; strong communication and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Implements safety initiatives and improves safety performance.
• Executes quality plans and drives process variation reduction.
• Monitors on-time delivery and takes corrective actions.
• Manages labor, overtime, and expenditures to control costs.
• Determines staffing weekly and reallocates resources as needed.
• Analyzes production reports to identify root causes and fix issues.
• Leads kaizen activities and Lean deployments for productivity.
• Supports capital projects with ROI-driven decisions.
• Coaches teams and stays current with production trends.
