Job summary

MCC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee site production, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives, and lead lean transformation across the plant. You will develop teams to achieve corporate improvements, manage staffing, and execute kaizen initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business or equivalent 10 years of staff level leadership experience.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and change agent initiatives.
• Strong communication and leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Lead safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects (Lean, kaizen).
• Analyze production reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage staffing requirements and deploy resources to meet priorities.
• Drive cost reduction through labor, overtime and expenditure control.
• Mentor and develop team members and promote best practices and standard work.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain staffing levels and comply with policies.
