Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Muskegon DBS Leader to drive Danaher Business System deployment and lean transformation on site. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and delivery while coordinating continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will lead workshops, develop the Kaizen funnel, and mentor teams through product relocations and start-up activities, with a strong emphasis on data-driven problem solving and executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 7+ years’ experience in a related manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on GEMBA approach with the ability to connect to the bigger picture.
• Facilitate/coordinate/coach lean workshops/kaizen events across projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the deployment and integration of the Danaher Business System (DBS) across the site, ensuring DBS activities, daily management, Bowler execution, and continuous improvement initiatives are aligned with plans.
• Develop the Kaizen funnel with leadership; lead workshops and kaizen events for construction, start-up, product relocations.
• Apply Lean tools to compress schedules, eliminate waste, and improve process capability.
• Drive institutionalization of Lean to achieve a culture of continuous improvement through data-based decision making and problem solving.
• Develop, maintain and drive the site CP funnel and support CP candidates.
• Lead and support fact-based problem-solving sessions and sustainment activities.
