Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Puerto Rico is seeking an Opex Lean Engineer to drive continuous improvement across the plant using Lean tools and value-stream mapping. You will lead Kaizen events, develop schedules, train personnel, consolidate OEE data, and support the plant’s Lean maturity with strong leadership and data-based decisions.

This role reports to the ES AMER PCS organization and requires collaboration with Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers while upholding Eaton’s ethics and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• English: conversational advanced.
• Minimum experience: At least three years experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean tools.
• Project Management.
• Lean Tools Knowledge.
• Power Apps & Microsoft Office.
• Process Improvement Techniques.
• Tooling.
• Critical Thinking & Data analytics.
• Organizational Skills.
• Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement Lean and continuous improvement strategies.
• Lead VSM events for plant processes.
• Develop Lean Kaizen events schedule and support implementation.
• Consolidate OEE and provide improvement opportunities.
• Train personnel in Lean tools.
• Coordinate or perform Operational Outstanding events.
• Support Continuous Improvement competencies development by supporting training plan.
• Interfaces with Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers.
