Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks an OPEX Senior Engineer to drive manufacturing and testing improvements in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. You will lead capacity analyses, lean initiatives, and safety and quality programs across Feeders, Assembly, and Testing.

The role requires strong project leadership, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration across operations, quality, maintenance, and IT to improve OTP, OEE, yield, and scrap while reducing costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and capacity analysis.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize manufacturing and testing processes across feeders, assembly, and testing areas.
• Perform capacity analyses and implement Lean Six Sigma improvements.
• Develop and maintain safety, quality, and process documentation.
• Lead Kaizen events to improve OTP, OEE, yield, and scrap.
• Support equipment selection, procurement, and automation solutions.
• Monitor performance via dashboards and data analysis; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with EQS, MESH, and ISO audits.
