Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking an Opex Lean Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives, apply Lean tools, and drive productivity across plant processes. You will train teams, run VSM events, develop Kaizen schedules, and report progress to the divisional level.

You bring a Bachelor’s in Engineering with at least three years in CI and Lean tools, plus strong data analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • English: conversational advanced.
  • At least three years experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean tools.
  • Experience with project management, Lean tools, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Opex Lean Engineer.

What You’ll Do
  • Identifies and implements strategies to improve productivity through Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Essential Functions
  • Perform Lean tools trainings
  • Execute VSM events for plant and processes
  • Develop Lean Kaizen events schedule and support implementation
  • Consolidate OEE and provide improvement opportunities per process
  • Support Command Center /iObeya systems
  • Submit status of Continuous Improvement initiatives to Divisional team
  • Kanban database management
  • Conduct / support Continuous Improvement events for the plant
  • Backup supervisor for Tool Room
  • Establish strategy for Lean maturity process
  • Train personnel as required
  • Complete Lean self-assessment, Plant Maturity level and other reports to communicate to the Divisional Level
  • Coordinate or perform Operational Outstanding events
  • Support Continuous Improvement competencies development by supporting training plan
  • Interfaces with Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers
  • Assures the company policies are met based on Eaton’s Philosophy and Code of Ethics
  • Must be a proactive, dynamic, high energy, results-focused individual with strong leadership skills.
  • Ensure to apply the Eaton Leadership Model as part to the Continuous Improvement deployment and implementations.
Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
